Our next run is coming up on Thursday August 21, at 6:30 pm! This will take place at Sociable Cider Werks. My good friend and Sociable head brewer Mike Willaford has graciously agreed to give us a quick tour of their place when we complete our run. Thanks Mike! So please join us for a fun evening of running, beer, cider and brewery tour. Cheers! DA
It’s time to run again. Of course, there’s beer afterwards.
This Thursday, July 17 at 6:00 pm we will meet at Day Block Brewing in Minneapolis. We’ve got a beautiful run planned…just over 3 miles along the river. We’ll end up back at Day Block for a beer!
Our next club run after this Thursday will be Wednesday, July 30. Stay tuned for the location details.
We hope to see lots of smiling faces on Thursday!
We are coming up on another run, and you can’t spell brunch without RUN! This Sunday, June 29 at 10:30am we will meet at Cochran Park at the corner of Summit Ave and Western Ave in St Paul. We’ll go for a run, probably around 30 minutes or so, then head to The Happy Gnome for a beverage, food and to catch up!
This is a family friendly event! Everyone of every ability is welcome to join us.
Look for more details soon but save the date for our next run on Sunday June 29 at 10:30 in St Paul. We’ll be starting off of Summit Ave and hit some place for brunch afterward!

Ranimosity beer running club recently completed it’s first ever club meeting. The meeting consisted of three people. Myself and another couple. While I hoped for a better turnout, I was also grateful that I wasn’t running alone. We ran a 5k around Lake Calhoun on May 1st and then went to The Republic in Uptown to discuss what we wanted our little club to become. I am so thankful for Dave and Audrey for showing up! 1) for providing me company (One does not a club make) and 2) for their enthusiastic support for this idea and it’s future. We discussed the hopes and dreams of this little idea and laid a real foundation.
Some things we mentioned were:
2) Club Memberships
4) Monthly Runs
6) Pop-up Runs
9) Health in Running
10) Health in Beer
12) Winter Running
17) Above all, FUN!
In case you missed the tweets and other web posts, the next club beer run will be Thursday, May 29th along the Mississippi River beginning and ending at Dangerous Man Brewing. Please join us at 6pm. The weather is all but guaranteed to be better than the last meeting. Dangerous Man can be found at 1300 2nd St NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413 on the corner of 13th Ave in Nordeast.
Ranimosity: Good beer, good people, good for you!
It’s time this little group got off to a big start. Ranimosity inaugural meeting will happen on Thursday evening May 1st at 5:30PM. We’ll meet at the SW corner of Lake Calhoun by the Bakken Museum along W 36th St. Afterwards we’ll head to the Republic in Uptown for discussions and libations. For this club to be successful I’ll need help from the club members to decide on many important ideas. When are we going to meet? Monthly? Bi-monthly? What charity/ies do we want to support? Does anyone know anything about computers so we can incorporate technology into our group? Do we want to have recurring meetings annually like ‘Bring your kid to run day’? Do we want club running shirts? (Hint: Answer = YES!) Is anyone a graphic designer? Where are we going to run? Rotate around town? This is obviously a lot to discuss and we’ll take it one step at a time (pun intended) but it starts May 1st. Hope to see you there. Cheers!
Please send an email to runbeerrepeat at gmail to join our mailing list. I soon hope to incorporate Google Groups to manage the mailing list but need to find someone who knows what they’re doing to help set it up : )
Last Saturday I launched an idea that I had been thinking about for a long time. My idea? Let’s go running and then go drink beer. Thank you to everyone who shared my idea via Twitter. It’s amazing how fast things happen. Now, let’s make it real! Please email runbeerrepeat at gmail to be added to our mailing list. Especially if you are interested in our inaugural meeting later this month. Cheers! DA
