Before the holidays, we made our way to the Muddy Pig in St Paul for out annual Holiday Light Run! We had a chilly evening with the air temps hovering around 4 degrees Farenheight. Even with that, we headed out, down to Summit avenue to check out all the lights on display. We made it down to the Governor’s mansion and the amazing display there before we spun around and headed back. Some of us decided it was a bit too cold and called out part of the run early. Others held out and got their full 30 minutes in before heading back to the Pig!
After warming up back at the pig, we all settled in for some great food and beverages! Thanks again to everyone who joined us for this fun run!
This week we head to LynLake Brewing again for another winter run! Our last trip to LynLake still holds our record for the coldest run for our group. We’ll see if that changes after this week!
Come join us Thursday at LynLake for a 30-minute run, followed by some great beer. As always, we will meet at the LynLake at about 6:20pm around the front of their facility and will start our run at 6:30 sharp so please plan to get there and parked on time. After our 30 minute run, we’ll meet back at LynLake for a post-run beverage! If you have questions or suggestions for people, jump over to our Facebook group and ask away! Not sure about running in the cold, we will be back at LynLake at 7pm so feel free to show up to chat!
Remember that we are running in the dark now so please come prepared for that. Reflective clothing, lights, and anything that can help you be seen will help keep us all safe!
