Hi beer runners! Back on the 1st of the month we went back to Flat Earth Brewing in St Paul and ended up having a fantastic run through Swede Hollow!
With over a dozen runners in tow, we ventured out first towards the Eastside Heritage Park then looping back down into Swede Hollow! This route is probably one of my most favorite runs for the hidden beauty in the middle of an urban area. It’s amazing to go from running next to the old Hamms Brewery buildings into this lush, green parkland, then onto an amazing train bridge. All this while being yards away from a heavily populated urban area.
After the run we got to hang out in the awesome recently opened patio in back of Flat Earth. I was a blast sitting in the warm evening sun, chatting with friends and enjoying a tasty Bermuda Triangle Tripel, all in the dilapidated brickwork of the former Hamm’s Brewery!
This week we are heading to the brand new HeadFlyer Brewing in NE Minneapolis. Come join us Thursday at for a 30 minute run, followed by some great beer. As always, we will meet at HeadFlyer at about 6:20pm around the front of their facility and will start our run at 6:30 sharp so please plan to get there and parked on time. After our 30 minute run we’ll meet back at HeadFlyer for a post-run beverage and social time! If you have questions or suggestions for people, jump over to our Facebook group and ask away, or use the contact form on the website! Have a friend who should hear about RunBeerRepeat, forward this email to them, or share the Facebook Event for this run!
If you are thinking of joining us, please make sure to RSVP.
