Hi Beer Runners!
We had a fantastic run the other week from Groveland Tap! This was our first time running from Groveland Tap and other than the hot weather, it was a fantastic evening! Our out-and-back route took us down St. Claire Ave to Mississippi River Blvd. The route had a refreshing collection of hills to make sure we built up enough sweat to make it worth it. We took a quick break at the half-way point for a water and photo break but after that, it was back up-hill to the beer!
At Groveland Tap we enjoyed a nice array of ice water, cold beer and delicious food to make the evening’s run worthwhile!
This week we are heading over to the brand new Pryes Brewing in Minneapolis. Pryes has been around for several years as a brewery but they just opened a brand new brewery and taproom right along the Mississippi River on the West Bank of the Mississippi across from the NE Minneapolis district.
Come join us Thursday at for a 30 minute run, followed by some great beer. As always, we will meet at Pryes Brewing at about 6:20pm around the front of their facility and will start our run at 6:30 sharp so please plan to get there and parked on time. After our 30 minute run we’ll meet back at Pryes for a post-run beverage and social time! If you have questions or suggestions for people, jump over to our Facebook group and ask away, or use the contact form on the website! Have a friend who should hear about RunBeerRepeat, forward this email to them, or share the Facebook Event for this run!
If you are thinking of joining us, please make sure to RSVP.
A couple quick post-scripts.
If you have ever been interested in running a Ragnar Trail Relay, Run Beer Repeat is fielding a team to the September 22 and 23rd Ragnar Trail Relay in Wausau, WI. We have a couple spots still to fill. If you are interested or want more details, contact us using Social Media or the contact form on the website for more information right away.
For anyone running the Torchlite 5k on Wednesday this week, some of us will be gathering smack dab in front of the Basillica at the bottom of the steps before the race. If you are running, swing by and say hi! Afterwards, we’ll be hanging out a bit at the far side of the party area between where the beer truck usually is and where runners are leaving the stone arch bridge. Hope to see some team colors Wednesday!
