It’s time to run! And beer…!
Hi beer runners!
This week we head to St Paul and Bang Brewing! Before that, you have to hear about our awesome run from Day Block two weeks ago.
Our Day Block run was our first run back in “Night Running” mode with headlamps, reflective gear and dark! We were also chasing the rain with heavy at times storms running through the area. For the run, we ended up heading out to the Mill Ruins park, over the Stone Arch Bridge, down towards the University. From there we ran across the old train bridge that’s now a pedestrian bridge and back up to Day Block. Overall we stayed dry and had a blast! The views from the bridges were spectacular with the storms and down town Minneapolis being highlighted!
Back at day block we settled in for beers, pizza, salads and all sorts of yummy concoctions! Thanks to Day Block for being a great host.
We have never ran at the small grain silo that makes up Bang Brewing. That comes to an end this Thursday. Come join us Thursday at Bang Brewing for a 30 minute run, followed by some great beer! As always, we will meet at Bang at about 6:20pm around the front of their facility and will start our run at 6:30 sharp so please plan to get there and parked on time. After our 30 minute run we’ll meet back at Bang for a post-run beverage!
If you have questions or suggestions for people, jump over to our Facebook group and ask away!
Remember that we are running in the dark so please come prepared for that. Reflective clothing, lights and anything that can help you be seen will help keep us all safe!
If you are thinking of joining us, please make sure to RSVP.
