On March 3rd we had a great run along the Mississippi River among the beautiful lights of downtown Minneapolis. We began and ended our run under the Broadway Ave bridge at the recently opened Community Keg House. The Keg House is the first of it’s kind in the Cities that I know of. It’s a smorgasbord style beer hall where you purchase a glass at the register and put whatever you want into it. The selections were great. Many of the metro’s most notable breweries were represented and the entire collection was broken down into themes. A very comfortable and friendly place. We all really enjoyed it. Did I mention they serve food???
The run was fantastic as well. The weather was unseasonably warm and the views of downtown from the banks of the river were beautiful as always.
On St. Patrick’s Day (Thursday March 17th) we are heading back to Indeed Brewing. We’ll start at the brewery for a 30 minute run, followed by some great beer! As always, we will meet at Indeed at about 6:20pm just inside their facility and will start our run at 6:30 sharp. Please plan to get there in plenty of time to find a parking spot. This should be our first day lit run of the year!
If you are planning on joining us at, please rsvp and let us know.
