It was a hot and muggy evening but we had a blast running at Fair State last week!
Temps were in the 90’s with the heat index well into the triple digits but we ran! We decided on a casual out-and-back run due to the heat. Our run took us north on Central up to St. Anthony Parkway and the Columbia Park golf course. After a bit of time on the parkway we hit out half-way point and headed back for beer!
Fair State had a table reserved for us hot and sweaty runners, (thanks Charlie and the rest of the Fair State staff!) Fair State, as usual, had an impressive collection of very solid beer on tap that was perfect for our post-run enjoyment.
Come join us next week as we sneak in south of the river but still within our typical 694-494 loop as we head to Mendota and Lucky’s 13! We will have two running options, both easy out and backs. One is a fantastic paved trail along the Minnesota and Mississippi Rivers. The other is a trail run heading south along the Minnesota. Both are run, friendly routes and we are looking forward to them!
