Last week we had a great run from Finnegans! The weather was fantastic, the run was great and the beer was cold and refreshing!
A big thanks goes out to everyone who joined us last week at Finnegans. After the big weekend snowstorm I think we all needed a nice warm run to get back in the Spring feeling. Our run this week took us down to the Mississippi River at the Stone Arch Bridge, underneath the Hennepin Ave Bridge and up to the North Loop Playground where we hit our 15-minute turn-around point.
If you haven’t been to Finnegans brand new brewery, go and check it out! Their taproom space is beautiful, feeling like a classy hotel bar with lots of different seating options and areas. The Beers were fantastic. The big hit was the very excellent Bìere De Mars
Next week we are heading over to 12welve eyes for our 4th anniversary run! Come join us for a great run, some excellent beers and maybe some surprises! Rumor has it there may be an opportunity for a tour! Please RSVP if you are planning on joining us so we have an idea on numbers.
In other news, we are trying out a new private social/discussion platform. We have registered a Slack team and are starting to use it for discussion in between runs. Slack is often used in the corporate world and is not in the business of selling your personal information to advertisers. This is a private discussion area just for RunBeerRepeat. If you are interested, jump over to runbeerrepeat.com/slack and sign up. This week we have been talking about Lupulin Brewing and trail running, to name a couple topics!
